Seriously . . . who the heck is in charge of network programming these days?
Why are The Grinch, Frosty The Snowman, and Santa Claus Is Coming To Town on network TV IN NOVEMBER??
Why are they are AT THE SAME TIME and ON THREE DIFFERENT NETWORKS?
How am I supposed to watch all of my favorites if they’re competing against each other?!
Remember back in the day when you were sooo excited to see the holiday specials? You scoured the TV Guide to find out when they were on and then camped in front of the TV so that you wouldn’t miss a minute?! You could spend an entire week watching all the wonderful holiday shows. It was a glorious time.
Yes, I know I can stream all of them on Netflix or Hulu, or I could get a DVD collection and watch them any time I want . . . but that’s not the point . . . and that’s not the same.
And, yes, I realize I sound like a very old person complaining about new fangled technology . . .
Thanks for listening . . .
