It’s a very busy day here at the Big Dog House.
Hubby just left for his Sunday bowling league. When he gets home, he has to cut the grass and do some yard work. Yes, I’ve been drafted to help. Yuck.
I’ve got some errands to run and some laundry to finish. Then there is supper to plan and some cross stitch to work on.
Even the dogs have work to do. Blacky is supervising the roofing guys working on the house across the street. That involves him sitting at the front door watching the guys working on our neighbor’s roof and giving an occasional "woof" when they walk into his line of sight.
Luci is busy supervising me and my laundry duties. She follows me upstairs to get the laundry basket and then follows me to the basement stairs. This is where we part company. Luci doesn’t like coming down into the basement. Something about the open staircase frightens her. She sits patiently while I load the washer and empty the dryer and then follows me upstairs to fold and put away the laundry.
I know it sounds boring, but it’s actually not. It’s just another typical Sunday in Ohio.
