Uh Oh

There’s a horrible case of the flu going around.  It’s the upper respiratory kind.  Stuffy nose, coughing, fever, chills, achy all over.  They were dropping like flies at work last week.  At both where I work and where Hubby works.  I thought we had managed to dodge the bullet.
Until this morning, that is.  He was fine when he left the house this morning.  I called Hubby about something about 11 a.m. this morning.  He sounded a little stuffy.  He said he had been cold all day.  Hubby is never cold.  I called again about 4:30 this afternoon.  He was already home from work and he said that he was going to lay down because he didn’t feel good.
I got home at 5:15.  He was covered up in the blankets in bed.  Fully dressed.  He had taken some Nyquil and was going to sleep it off.
I think it’s going to be a very long weekend.

Sorry Hubby is sick…my advice…stay away.  Far far away.  You can nurse him from afar right? 😉  Seriously, hope he recovers quick.
Thanks for stopping by my page.  OH, and to answer your question,  I don\’t know if dogs can get the chicken pox.  It\’s a question I asked in one of my blogs a little while back when my 9 yr old daughter had \’the pox\’…I kinda don\’t think so though.
    Take care!
