All About Me

1. I’m newly single. 
2. Ending a 26 year marriage
3. I’m the “bad guy” in the divorce
4. I’m a “cradle Catholic” but I spent most of my adult life as a non-practicing Catholic.
5. Came back to the Church in 2001 and realized the importance of having the marriage blessed by a priest.  
6. Guess I’m going to have to start that process again. 
7. I have two stepkids and 5 step-grandkids.
8. The relationship with the kids isn’t so good now since the divorce.
9. I believe that having grandchildren is God’s reward for surviving your kids teenage years.
10. I always wanted to have at least 6 kids
11. I’ve had nine kids – the four legged kind.
12. Thankfully not all at the same time!
13. Since the divorce, I’m a single mom of two dogs.
14. I believe that God does answers prayers, just not always with the answer you were expecting or in the timeframe you were expecting!
15. Owning dogs has taught me that STBX and I didn’t have the same parenting beliefs.  
16. It’s probably a good thing we didn’t have any two-legged kids together. 
17. My first car was a 1974 Ford Pinto. 
18. I learned what a distributor cap is because of that car.  If the cap got wet, the car wouldn’t start.  Many a morning I had to wipe out the cap before I could go anywhere. 
19. My second car was a 1972 Pontiac Catalina that previously belonged to my father-in-law
20. Every car since then has been a Ford.
21. I drive a station wagon I lovingly refer to as The Dog Mobile.
22. Bought it specifically to cart the dogs around.
23. I spent my entire childhood living in the same house.
24. My parents still live in that house
25. I live 20 minutes away from where I grew up
26. I love NHRA drag racing.
27. I’m learning to love NASCAR
28. My favorite driver is Elliott Sadler – mostly because he crashed almost every week during his rookie season and was very honest about it being all his fault.
29. I don’t like Jeff Gordon.  Never have.  Never will.  ‘Nuff said.
30. I started watcing NASCAR because of Dale Earnhardt, Sr. 
31. My favorite NFL team is the San Francisco 49ers
32. I started rooting for them because of Joe Montana.
33. I’m very sad that they aren’t very good these days.
34. I listen to Michael Buble, Harry Connick Jr., Barry Manilow, AC/DC, Molly Hatchet, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marty Stuart, Kenny Chesney, and Toby Keith
35. I can’t watch America’s Funniest Videos in public because I have a sick and twisted sense of humor.  I laugh when people fall down or get hurt.
36. I broke my ankle once falling out of bed.
37. I broke my collar bone by crashing my bike into a parked car because I was checking out a cute guy.   
38. The guy didn’t see it.  (Thank heavens!)
39. I get my nails done very other week. 
40. Usually a French manicure – nail polish makes my hands look really old.
41. I love getting a pedicure.
42. Favorite color for toes – something red! 
43. I watch the “A Christmas Story” marathon every year on TBS
44. I want to visit the “A Christmas Story” House and Museum in Cleveland.
45. I’d like to learn the dance from the jail scene in “The Replacements”
46. I watch “The Money Pit” every time it’s on TV.
47. I recite the lines during the movie.  Needless to say I watch the movie alone!
48. My favorite scene is when the bathtub falls through the floor and Tom Hanks laughs.  I love that laugh. 
49. I think the Clorox Ready Mop is the greatest invention of the 21st Century.
50. Every home with children or dogs should own at least one.
51. My biggest pet peeve is people who don’t return shopping carts to the cart corrals in the parking lot. 
52. My second biggest pet peve is people talking on their cell phone while they are driving.
53. I don’t understand the sport of curling, but I love to watch it during the Winter Olympics.
54. I’m the fourth of six children.
55. I have two brothers and three sisters.
56. Our birthdays are either a day before or a day after a major holiday.
57. Labor Day, Valentine’s Day, Father’s Day, Independence Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter.
58. I was born two weeks late and haven’t been on time for anything since. 
59. I missed being born on the 4th of July by 3 hours.
60. When I was little, I thought the fireworks were for my birthday.
61. I was the black sheep of the family when I was a teenager.
62. My baby brother took over that job when he became a teenager.
63. My brother and I are both respectable upstanding adults now.
64. My sisters were the good children.
65. They made honor society, always got good grades, stuff like that.
66. I almost flunked out during my first year of college.
67. I ended up making the Dean’s List the quarter before I graduated.
68. My favorite color is red.
69. The only brand of jeans I’ll wear are Levi’s 550 brand, relaxed fit, boot cut
70. I love to watch the Food Network and read cookbooks
71. I used to think I hated to cook. 
72. But I recently discovered it was because my cooking efforts were not appreciated. 
73. I have been a fan of “The Young and The Restless” since the first episode.
74. I arranged my class schedule around Y&R  when I was in college. 
75. Watching MTV these days makes me feel very, very old.
76. I love “Pimp My Ride”
77. I don’t like watching scary movies. 
78. I stopped watching scary movies after seeing “The Fly” with Jeff Goodblum
79. The donut scene is the reason why.
80. I’ll watch anything with Kevin Costner in it.
81. Or Antonio Banderas.
82. I’ve watched the movie “Love Actually” about 100 times. 
83. I love Graham Norton on BBC America. 
84. I miss being able to watch EastEnders on BBC America.  I have to follow it on their website.
